Out of the dark we came into the...

Out of the dark, we came onto the brightly lit room. Spotlights blinded us all.  It was time for our final band concert of the year. There were squeals and cheers coming from the crowd as everyone clapped because our band was climbing onto the stage. Normally it would be dangerous to have had that many people in one room, but the crafty directors made everyone fit by cramming in extra chairs and having people stand. We began playing our first song. The ecstatic trumpet player played a wonderful solo that everyone enjoyed. He reeked of immense talent and determination. After we played three other songs, everyone cheered and really enjoyed the concert. It was a good way to end the year.
